Meet the Candidate Night

Before the 2018 general election, we had a Meet the Candidate night. We invited the local down ballot candidates. We were pleasantly surprised that even the US Congressional candidate, Susan Wild was even able to make it all the way out to Moore Township!

They sat at a table and each took 15 minutes to talk about themselves and anything they wanted. After everyone had a turn, the audience asked questions.

We filled the hall. It was a terrific night. So many people showed up to set up that it was finished in a snap. We had a crew directing traffic and parking outside. We had a food table, with coffee and tea, but that really was overkill.

Susan Wild was our star that night! We were so pleased that she came out for this and the meeting before the primary as well.

Maybe the best part was making the front page of The Home News! That's the equalivent of the cover of the Rolling Stone out here in Moore Township.
